Very cool. As Avalon Design already pointed out, it's both soft on the eye and it focusses quite nicely on the points of interest as well. I'm not quite sure about the font you used for your areas of the gallery though, as I'm not all that sure about the brackets around them. I don't know. It just doesn't feel right to me. Something more elegant (higher and thinner) might fit better, IMO.
