Ice Ambush

Here we are. A small contingent of Federation starships are ambushed by a Klingon raid, in the orbital ice fragments hanging above a cold, unnamed world.

I would have absolutely loved to have built my own Bird of Prey model, but if that was the case then this image wouldn't be done for another few months, if at all... there just isn't enough time. So, I must use Fabio's excellent model.

There's a bit of photoshop work in this, but for the most part it's pure LightWave. Render time was about 6 hours. See journal for scene details.
